Up ahead, I discovered those said to be culprits in turning the desert into the Plague Forest - the Wicked Wisewood.
It's not all their fault but the Plague Forest is formed by the diseases spread among the wisewoods.
When I stopped and observed them carefully, I realized with a start that the wisewoods were not infected with ordinary infectious plagues.
From what I could see, it was special plague that only Necromancers can craft.
Yab gasped in surprise as well because she had noticed the same thing.
We decided to hunt the wisewoods in large numbers to verify our hypothesis.
