After I completed my investigations of Wisewood and dangerous beasts, Damian seemed to be even more preoccupied. When I asked him if he needed my help, Damian sent me to see the two White Flame Knights Lyon and Cylice sent as reinforcements by the Senate.
I now curse my wretched curiosity. When they told me about the tragedy of Hidden Rock Village, I could not sleep for days. I do not want to speak of that terrible story again. The morbid may ask Lyon themselves.
A few days later, as Lyon and Cylice prepared to lead the troops to investigate Hidden Rock Village, they asked if I wished to come along. I naturally shouldered my firearm and went with them.

We wanted to discover the origin of the swamp gas that caused the tragedy and look for unaffected survivors.
Unfortunately, we had no luck; the poisoned villagers stared back at us with dead eyes and attacked us.
Lyon instructed the Soldiers to fight, and the Skeletal Villagers fell back.
Our victory didn't last long. Captain Myski rushed out with his skeleton army.
Lyon and Cylice were simply outnumbered. The weight of the tragedy made it difficult for me to fight; these had been innocent civillians, after all.
But I managed to snap out of it just in time. I aimed at the exposed elbow joint of Myski's right arm and pulled the trigger.
