First of all, I need you to go to the Silence Cliff to the northeast of the harbor and kill the Coastal Flying Stingrays and the Silence Clay Doll.
Since you're not quite qualified, I will continue to train you. Eventually, you'll have the skills and prowess to hold your own in any battle.
We don't know much about the Silence Clay Doll, but the skate is a vicious fish in the north. If you're not afraid of fish yet, after this fight, you will be! You'll probably never eat tuna salad again. I don't eat it, but that's only because it gives me terrible breath.
